Day by Day

Lagoon days, freshwater calm

Bacalar Lagoon

Day 1: Arrival in Bacalar
Arrive via Cancún and travel south to Bacalar. Settle into your lagoonfront retreat and spend the rest of the day swimming, kayaking, or simply watching the light change across the water.

Day 2: The many blues of the lagoon
Set out on a private boat experience across Bacalar Lagoon. Drift past quiet channels and open water, stopping to swim and float in different shades of blue. Champagne is served on board, and the pace remains slow and contemplative throughout.

Day 3: Still mornings, candlelit evenings
Enjoy a full day at leisure. Swim from the dock, paddle a kayak, or relax with a book by the water. In the evening, gather for a private, lagoon-side romantic dinner, designed to feel intimate and unhurried.

Shallow seas and slow evenings

Isla Holbox

Day 4: From lagoon to island
Depart Bacalar and travel north toward Isla Holbox. A ferry crossing delivers you to the island, where sandy streets replace roads and the pace shifts immediately. Check in and spend the afternoon unwinding by the sea.

Day 5: Shallows, sandbars & open water
Set out on a private sandbar or catamaran experience, gliding through Holbox’s shallow turquoise waters. Swim, wade across sandbars, and enjoy champagne as the day drifts toward sunset.

Day 6: Island time
A full day at leisure. Walk the beach, cycle the island, swim in calm shallows, or simply let the hours pass. Seasonal wildlife experiences, such as flamingos or whale sharks, can be arranged if conditions align.

Day 7: A quiet farewell
Spend the day at your own pace before gathering in the evening for a private beachfront farewell dinner, set beneath the fading light and the sound of the sea.

Day 8: Departure
Transfer by ferry and road back to Cancún for your onward journey.
