Day by Day

Courtyards, countryside & living history

Mérida

Day 1: Arrival in Mérida
Arrive in Mérida and transfer to your hotel. Spend the remainder of the day settling in, enjoying the courtyard or pool, or taking a relaxed evening stroll through the historic center.

Day 2: Hacienda history & cenotes at Mucuyché
Travel into the Yucatán countryside to Hacienda Mucuyché, a former henequen estate rooted in the region’s agricultural past. Explore the grounds with your guide before swimming in the hacienda’s two onsite cenotes, where cavern light and clear water offer a refreshing contrast to the day’s history. Lunch is included before returning to Mérida in the afternoon.

Day 3: Mérida at leisure & an evening of occasion
Enjoy a full day at leisure. Wander local markets, visit museums, or simply rest in the shade. In the evening, gather for one intentional dining experience, designed as a quiet moment of celebration rather than a tour.

Tulum

Day 4: From city to coast via Chichén Itzá
Depart Mérida and travel east toward the Caribbean. Stop en route for a privately guided visit to Chichén Itzá, timed to avoid peak crowds and focused on the site’s history and scale. Continue on to the Riviera Maya, arriving mid to late afternoon to settle in by the sea.

Day 5: Private cenotes & optional snorkeling
Spend the day exploring the Riviera Maya’s freshwater landscape. Visit two privately accessed cenotes and one carefully chosen public cenote with a dedicated guide and transport, swimming and moving at your own pace. For those who wish, a gentle snorkeling experience at a calm reef site can be added before returning to your hotel.

Day 6: Caribbean time
A full day at leisure. Swim, walk the beach, enjoy spa time, or simply let the hours pass with no plans in place.

Day 7: A quiet farewell by the sea
Spend the day as you wish before gathering in the evening for a private farewell dinner in a beachfront or garden setting, marking the close of the journey.

Day 8: Departure
Transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
