Day by Day

Untamed shores & hidden trails

Isla Palenque

Day 1: From city skies to island shores
Arrive in Panama City and continue on to David by short flight. From there, a private transfer and boat ride carry you to Isla Palenque, an untouched island sanctuary on Panama’s Pacific coast. Settle into your beachfront casita and breathe in the scent of salt and jungle. Your retreat begins where the rainforest meets the sea.

Day 2: Hammocks, trails & hidden Coves
Ease into island rhythm. Spend your day wandering rainforest paths, swinging in a hammock, or paddling along quiet shores. A naturalist-led hike reveals the secrets of the island’s wild heart, from towering ceibas to sun-drenched beaches touched only by tide and time.

Day 3: Islands of the gulf
Set sail through the Gulf of Chiriquí on a private island-hopping adventure. Stop to swim and snorkel in turquoise shallows, lounge on remote beaches, and share a seaside picnic surrounded by nothing but ocean and sky.

Day 4: Mangroves & moonlight
Paddle into Isla Palenque’s northeast coast by kayak, gliding past mangroves and rocky coves as your guide reveals the hidden life of this rare ecosystem. Drift into a bat-filled cave, then return in time for a sunset dinner on the beach. Tonight, dine barefoot in the sand by candlelight. Just the two of you, the stars, and the tide.
Overwater ease, Caribbean calm

Bocas del Toro

Day 5: To the Caribbean, in style
Say farewell to Isla Palenque and journey east through Chiriquí’s green hills to David, then on to Bocas del Toro by air. A short boat ride brings you to Nayara Bocas, where your private overwater villa with a plunge pool awaits. Welcome to the Caribbean coast.

Day 6 & 7: Drift, float, repeat
Your time here is yours. Wake to pink sunrises over the sea, paddle out over clear water, and snorkel along coral reefs. Sip fresh cocktails, sample locally inspired cuisine, and let your afternoons stretch out in the sunshine, feet up, heart full.
From jungle to city

Panama City

Day 8: Back to the capital
Enjoy a final walk along the beach before flying back to Panama City. Your driver whisks you to the American Trade Hotel, set in the heart of Casco Viejo. That evening, wander cobblestone lanes or toast your return on a rooftop terrace overlooking the old quarter.

Day 9: Departure
With a final café con leche and city view, transfer to the airport for your flight home, leaving refreshed by islands, lulled by tides, and restored by the stillness in between.
