Day by Day

Sea of Cortez beginnings

La Paz

Day 1: Arrival by the Sea
Arrive in La Paz and transfer to your boutique hotel near the Malecón. Settle in and step out along the waterfront as the desert light softens and the Sea of Cortez comes into view.

Day 2: Giants of the Blue
Set out by small boat for a seasonal marine encounter. Depending on conditions, watch gray or blue whales surface in open water, or for confident swimmers, take part in a fast-paced whale shark swim led by expert guides. Return to shore with the afternoon free to rest, swim, or explore at your own pace.

Day 3: Islands, Sand & Still Water
Cruise to Isla Espíritu Santo, a UNESCO-protected reserve of red cliffs, turquoise coves, and sea lion colonies. Snorkel if conditions allow, then spend time ashore before continuing to Balandra Bay for gentle shoreline walks and a romantic packed picnic set against one of Baja’s most iconic landscapes.
Pacific calm & desert light

Todos Santos

Day 4: Crossing the Peninsula
Travel south through sweeping desert terrain toward the Pacific coast. Arrive in Todos Santos and settle into your coastal retreat, where the landscape opens and the sound of the ocean replaces the still waters of the Sea of Cortez.

Day 5: Cactus Trails & Coastal Views
Join a local guide for a morning hike through cactus forests and desert arroyos, with wide views stretching toward the sea. The afternoon is open for rest, beach walks, or time by the pool.

Day 6: Firelight by the Shore
Enjoy a slow morning and an unhurried day. As evening approaches, gather for a private candlelit dinner at The Green Room, where open-fire cooking, sand underfoot, and ocean air define the experience.

Day 7: A Quiet Close
Spend the day exactly as you wish, with no plans set. That evening, share a second private dinner at DUM, an intimate, chef-led tasting experience that brings the journey to a refined close.

Day 8: Departure
Transfer to the airport for your onward journey, carrying Baja’s light, space, and silence with you.
