Day 1: Arrival in San José
Arrive in Costa Rica’s lively capital and check in to Grano de Oro, a gracious historic hotel tucked along a tree-lined boulevard. Spend the afternoon wandering on foot—past grand architecture, buzzing markets, and vibrant street life.

Day 2: Whitewater into the wild
Begin your journey with a thrilling whitewater rafting trip down the Pacuare River. Arrive at Pacuare Lodge, a remote jungle sanctuary surrounded by a vast expanse of green. This afternoon, unwind by your plunge pool, enveloped in rainforest quiet.

Day 3: Birds, treetops & indigenous wisdom
Wake early for a guided nature walk alive with birdsong and butterflies. Later, dine high in the canopy at “The Nest” before hiking into the hills to meet a member of the Cabécar community and hear stories passed down through generations.

Day 4: From forest to sea
Travel west to Manuel Antonio, where the jungle meets white sand. Settle into your private villa at Makanda by the Sea and catch your first Pacific sunset from the pool or the balcony.

Days 5 & 6: Sand, sea, and slow moments
Spend your days as you wish, lounging by your plunge pool or exploring the wild beaches of Manuel Antonio National Park. One evening, enjoy a candlelit dinner on the terrace with fresh seafood and the sound of the waves below.

Day 7: Arrival in Uvita
Head south to the cliffs of Uvita, where the Pacific stretches wide beneath the sky. At Kura, sleek glass-fronted suites float above the canopy. Unpack slowly, float in the pool, and watch the colors shift across the sea.

Day 8: Coral reefs and clear waters
Snorkel the crystalline waters around Caño Island, where coral gardens glow and rays glide through the deep. An underwater world, calm and luminous.

Day 9: Into the wilds of Corcovado
Explore Corcovado National Park on a shared guided hike through tangled rainforest and vibrant wildlife. Back at Kura, a private cliffside dinner ends the day in flavors and stars.

Day 10: Serenity in motion
Wake slowly. Drift in the infinity pool. In the afternoon, a cliffside couples’ massage offers full immersion in stillness, sea breeze, and open sky.

Day 11: One last golden day
Your final day is free to unfold at your pace. Walk Playa Uvita’s golden crescent, rest in the shade, or sip something cool as the sun sets one last time.

Day 12: Departure via San José
This morning, take a short local flight back to San José for your onward travels. One last look at the coast before you go.
