When to Visit Honduras & Roatán
Honduras is a year-round destination with regional variation between the mainland and the Bay Islands. The dry season runs from February to May, offering sunny skies for exploring Copán, hiking Pico Bonito, or relaxing on Roatán’s beaches. Late November to January also brings dry weather, with greener landscapes and cooler nights in the highlands.
The wet season lasts from June to October, especially on the mainland, but the Bay Islands often see short tropical showers and clear skies in between. March to May is ideal for diving and snorkeling, with calm seas and excellent visibility.
