The Inspiration of the Osa Peninsula
Costa Rica’s Osa Peninsula has always been one of those rare and remarkable places that we cannot get enough of. It is wild, raw, biodiverse, and endlessly inspiring. We’ve returned time and again, drawn to the way it makes us feel deeply alive.
The Osa Peninsula represents the type of experiential travel that is at the heart of Osaviva. Travel that goes beyond a vacation, immerses you in a place, and leaves you changed. That is the spirit we carry into every journey we design.
The Bird-Feeder Mix-Up
And then, there is the funny part. For years, we have received calls, emails, and even online reviews meant for Roam Wild Products, a company that sells bird feeders. People looking for bird baths would call us to place an order, and we would get reviews (some glowing, some not) for squirrel-proof bird feeders. It made things confusing for their customers, and our travelers.
It became clear that a distinct name was essential, one that reflects our unique world of travel without any mix-ups.
